Rules

1. To compete in the Mr.and Miss Vivekanand Competition, contestants must be a student of Vivekanand College, Kolhapur (Empowered Autonomous)

2. In order to participate in the contest, each participant shall be required to register their name by paying Registration Fee Rs.300/- to the committee members.

3. Contestants must be able and willing to attend practice sessions, rehearsals and meetings prior to the competition.

4. Mr. and Miss Vivekanand common rounds.

A) Preliminary Round -The contest will start with preliminary round where participants will give their introduction. The contestants who qualify in the preliminary round will get to participate in the semi-final round that is talent show.

B)  Semi-final Round (Talent Round) - In this round, candidates will showcase their talent in dancing, acting, singing or art form they wish to. Based on the performance in the semi-final round top 6 from boys and 6 from girls contestants will make their way to the finals.

C)  Finale – In this round, there will be question answer session based on general knowledge and socio-cultural awareness. Among them, the top 3 contestants will face question-answer round by the judges.

5. Based on the highest score, the winners of Mr. Vivekanand and Miss. Vivekanand will be announced.

6. All contestants are encouraged to wear western as well as traditional attire of their choice but in the decorum of the competition and the rules of the college.

6. Scoring is based on overall appearance, confidence, intelligence, style, emotional control, speech, understanding and ability to articulate her/his opinions, sense of accomplishment.

7. The decision of the Judges will be final in all cases.

8. The contestants will have to participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout the completion.
