Ideathon: Business and Research Idea Competition

Aims & Objectives:

​

This competition aims to:

  • Identify novel, solutions-oriented research or business ideas that promote healthy and sustainable development of the society.

  • Support interdisciplinary exchange of ideas that draw upon different theories, methodological tools, frameworks, and approaches

The objectives of the competition are:

  • To encourage the students to demonstrate and present innovative interdisciplinary research ideas or business ideas across all the sectors.

  • To recognize and reward outstanding research or business ideas of the students

  • To provide incubation facilities through our college for selective research or business ideas.

  • To provide detailed feedback to the students about their innovative research or business ideas from a panel of distinguished experts from industry and academia

 Guidelines for the Entry, Submission and Presentation:

 

  1. The students can participate individually or as a team of a maximum of 4 members.

  2. Students who wish to participate must register their entries through the online link provided on the college website.

  3. Participants should prepare a poster, model, or PPT presentation on the selected research or business idea and present it accordingly.

  4. The title of the business or research idea must be clearly mentioned on the poster, PPT, or model.

  5. The poster must not contain any personal details such as name, class, college, etc., of the participants.

  6. All the research or business ideas will be evaluated by the experts from Industry or Academia. Further selected Ideas will be enrolled for the incubation process in the Vivekanand Innovation and Incubation Centre.

Eligibility:

The Vivekanand Mahostav’s ‘Ideathon: Business and Research idea Competition’ is open to the post-graduate and undergraduate students across the colleges affiliated to Shivaji University.
